Adventure Begins at Your Library

Join Us for **FREE* Weekly Programs, Movies, & Activities at the Library June 24th to August 12th. Kids, Teens, and Adults can earn chances for prizes by program attendance & time spent reading. Stop in for more information. Pick up a Summer Reading Library Passport to travel to other libraries, get it stamped and turn it in at the send of the season for a chance at a basket filled with wonderful goodies.

A Alan Irvine Storyteller program Listen to stories of world wide adventure and fortune, facing off against a variety of villains

A Westmoreland Land Trust program Paula Purnell will take us on an adventure into the garden to learn about bugs and pollination

Thursday, August 8th at 2:00pm

"Adventures of a Plastic Bottle"

A Westmoreland Cleanways program Play a game that follows the life stages of a plastic bottle, starting as oil & ending as recycled.

Reading Time with Storytime

Wednesdays at 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Jul 10th July 17th, July 24th, August 7th, & August 14th

Kids can gain confidence, improve reading skills, or just unwind by reading to Storytime, a lovable Labrador Retriever and certified therapy dog. Sign-up for a 15 minute session

Activity Days & Nights

Readers in Stitches

A new activity for our Activity Days & Nights monthly programming line-up, "Reader's in Stitches" is a monthly get together for those who like to craft and read. Stop by the Library on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2:00pm and bring your current crafting project. Chat about whatever good things you've been reading or watching. Get the 411 on what's new things are coming to the Library. Get help with reading eBooks or listening to eAudiobooks on the Libby app.

There's An Oil for That

A new activity for our Activity Days & Nights monthly programming, "There's an Oil for That" is an monthly workshop where you can try out and lean about essential oils . These will be introductory and educational. If you don't know anything about essential oils and how they can replace a lot of the toxic chemicals you currently use, then stop by and ask questions. You can also learn how the dōTERRA company and how they source and make their oils.
