The NewLanders with Paula Prunell & Gerard Rohlf
To help celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, the Library is partnering with the local Methodist church to bring a FREE concert. During this one hour program, NewLanders members, Paula Purnell and Gerard Rohlf, will take the audience on a musical tour, highlighting songs written by and about the inhabitants of western Pennsylvania, including native Seneca people, early European settlers and workers of the industrial age. Playing a variety of instruments and telling fascinating stories along the way, this joyful presentation will provide lots of opportunities for interaction and singing along.
The concert will take place Saturday, April 18th, 6:30pm at the New Florence Methodist Church, located at 196 9th ST in New Florence. Parking is available along 9th ST, around the church, and in the back lot directly behind the church. The church building is wheelchair accessible through the right side door by a ramp and lift type elevator.
