Help Set The Bracket for 2026
March 2nd to May 4th
Vote for your favorite book, March Madness bracket style. Choose books from 2 different time periods based on when a book was first published, not when it was reprinted.
Classic period: 1865 to 1945
Contemporary period: 2015 to 2020

From now until Sunday, March 15th, patrons will be able to submit a list of their favorite book titles that were first published in 1865 to 1945 and 2015 to 2020. These books can come in any form (physical/digital or print/audio/graphic novel), any genre (mystery, romance, historical, etc.), fiction or nonfiction, and any audience (kids, young adult, and adult).
On March 16th the bracket will be set using your lists. The battles of Selection 32, Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4, will each take 2 weeks to set the Championship Round, which will be 1 week and the top title will be announced on May 4th.
Drop your list off at the library anytime we’re open, email it to us, or fill out the online form. Be sure your name is on the list.
