Join us on a trip to historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania! It will be a trip leaving early, getting back late, and lots of early summer fun! The trip will consist of taking a ride on the Gettysburg Railway excursion train and visiting the Gettysburg National Military Park with lunch at Hoss’s in-between.

Cost = $175 per person [includes transportation, tours and lunch at Hoss’s (soup & salad bar, plus a drink). Checks can be made out to the New Florence Community Library.

Pick-up location = Roadway Plaza [6858 PA-711, Seward, PA 15954]. This is where Ideal Market is. It is about 4 miles northeast of New Florence. Please park near the yellow collection bins that are close to Route 711, so not to impede customers.

Itinerary

6:45am	Pick-up at The Roadway Plaza in Seward.
7:00am	Leave for Gettysburg. There will be a pit stop along the PA Turnpike.
10:30am	Arrive at the Gettysburg Railway for excursion ride.
11:00am-12:30pm	Train Ride
1:00-2:15pm	Lunch at Hoss’s.
2:30-4:30pm	Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center.
4:30-6:30	Bus Tour of battlefield with guide. There will be some stops, but you do not have to get off.
6:30pm	Leave for Seward. There will be a pit stop along the PA Turnpike.
10:30pm	Arrive at The Roadway Plaza.

Notes

When you sign up, please leave us a way to contact you in case something changes. The Library will call from 724-235-2249. Make sure your voicemail is not full so we can leave a message.
The lunch at Hoss’s is included in the trip price and will consist of the soup & salad bar, plus a drink. Any other orders will be on your own.
No stop for dinner. If you would like to bring a small cooler with your own snacks & drinks, that is ok. There will be water and snacks available on the bus.
Visitor Center will include the museum, cyclorama, and movie. [Links will go to the GNMP site]
Some walking and stairs. The Battlefield Tour will be guided and there will be some stops, but you do not have to get off the bus.
No pick up in Ligonier because we travelling through Johnstown.
